The concierge service can arrange to meet you at the airport and transfer you to the resort, or alternatively it is an easy twenty-five minute drive from Pisa airport. The resort is set on a hilltop amidst twenty-three acres of blissfully peaceful gardens, vineyards and olive groves, with stunning views across rolling hills to the Appenine mountains in the distance.

At the heart of the resort is the restored fifteenth Century Palazzo, an architectural gem retaining its original frescoes and delicate mouldings, now converted into a boutique hotel.

The resort apartments have been lovingly restored from original estate buildings and retain their authentic Tuscan ambience. Offering a reception, concierge and daily maid service: friendly and knowledgeable staff are available to assist if needed. Guests are welcome to stroll the grounds of the resort, to tour the Palazzo and to use the facilities of the hotel. There are occasional concerts, festivals and shows at the resort, and a regular Jazz evening on week-end evenings.

Visitors will welcome the convenience of the resort’s own dining choices, while appreciating the flexibility of the many excellent agriturismo restaurants within a short walk of the resort, offering traditional Tuscan cooking and local wines at great value. Additional bars, restaurants and shops can be found in Palaia, a five minute drive from the resort.

A Fifteen minutes scenic drive down a gently winding road will take you into the Arno valley. Guests will arrive at the bustling town of Pontedera, home of the Piaggio scooter company (designers of the popular 'Vespa' brand of scooter). Here you will find local markets, shopping centres, cinemas, clubs and nightlife, and of course the famous Vespa museum. From Pontedera there is a fast and regular rail service direct to Pisa, Florence, and the coastal resorts north and south of Pisa.
